I didn’t leave agin guys. I’m just swamped with finals. One more day!
He rolled his eyes a bit, immediately catching onto Mello’s examination. “I’m okay mom, no worries.” He gave him a reassuring grin before slipping in past him, waving the bottle around. “Let’s get wasted!”
Matt easily lifted him without loosing grip on the bottle clutched in his hand. He gave a small shrug. “Ah, ya know. Here. There. Around. That’s all boring shit though. Ya don’ wanna hear about that.” He set him back down on his feet.
Matt smiled softly at him, a few extra tears slipping down his cheeks. He leaned forward and pressed his lips to Mello’s, a hand resting against his cheek. “Yes. Absolutely.” He could feel his heart hammering him his chest, he almost felt lightheaded from it. He pressed another kiss to Mello’s lips.
Of course. On my way.
Matt had promised himself that if this ever did happen he wouldn’t do this, but damn it he was a big baby. He felt tears well up in his eyes as he wrapped his arms tightly around Mello. He pressed kisses over every spot within his reach. Over Mello’s chest, collar bones, shoulders, neck. “I love you. I love you so much.”
Send me a ☒ and I’ll generate a gif and use it to make a starter.
Matt pouted slightly when he felt Mello moving to get up. He looped his arms tighter around his waist and pulled him back down, whining out something that sounded like a no. His eyes lazily blinked open so he could look up at him. “I don’ wanna do anythin’ today.”
Matt swung open the door to his small studio and leaned in the doorway, a small smirk of amusement on his lips. “I don’t eat cheese, but I s’pose I’m feelin’ pretty generous.” After a moment he moved out of the way and let B inside. “Ya sleep on the couch and if the police come around I can’t afford to have them search my apartment so I’m sellin’ ya down river. Got it?”
Beyond was glad to be back inside, brightening up instantly. Following Matt over to the cabinet he let out a whistle of approval. “Damn, you’ve got everything,” he said. He pulled out a couple bottles, finding things to mix together. “Go sit down, I’m making you a drink,” he ordered, not paying attention to whether Matt followed his instructions or not. He found a couple glasses and mixed together two amaretto sours. Best to start slow, he figured, especially in Matt’s current state. “Not to brag but this is gonna taste amazing,” he said, handing a glass to the other man and taking a seat on the arm of the couch. “I add more sweet than sour to the mix, you gotta try it.”
Matt wandered over to the couch and flopped down into it lazily, reaching up to pull his goggled down around his neck where they hung loosely. He stared blankly at Beyond’s back as he mixed the drinks. His eyes only shifted when the man began to come over towards the couch, 2 glasses in hand. He sat up a bit straighter as he took the drink. “I always forget ya gotta sweet tooth.” He took a slow sip, nose twitching slightly at the taste. He was never much of a fan of sweet stuff but it wasn’t bad. He eased back into the couch.
